Two routes through the same jungle: Silver is the classic loop, Gold is longer, higher, and adds the sky-bridge.
Two options through the same jungle canopy above Bophut. Silver is the classic loop — twelve platforms, about ninety minutes, mostly zip-line with a short abseil at the end. Gold is longer, higher, and adds a sky-bridge crossing and a tandem finale — about two hours on the platform time, more altitude, more variety.
Guides are local, safety-trained, and the harness/helmet gear is Petzl-standard. Kids from age seven can do it as long as they hit the minimum weight (~25 kg) and can grip the trolley themselves. Max rider weight is 100 kg (a hard operator limit, not a guideline).
Round-trip transfer is included from the main hotel zones. The platform is about 45 minutes from Chaweng; the whole outing takes half a day.
Silver is enough for first-timers or a family with young kids. Gold is worth the upgrade if you've done ziplines before, if you're comfortable with heights, or if you specifically want the sky-bridge crossing.
Yes — from age 7 up, min weight ~25 kg. Under 12, the operator will pair the child with a guide on the tandem sections. If you have concerns, book Silver — the platforms are lower and shorter.
Hard cap. The trolley + brake system is rated to 100 kg (adult + gear). Above that, the operator won't clip you in; no exceptions. Refunds if disclosed at booking, not at the platform.
Closed shoes (sneakers, not sandals), shorts or trousers you can move in, a top with sleeves. Long hair tied back. No dangling jewellery.
