Tickets to Koh Tao & Phangan

Inter-island ferry tickets between Samui, Phangan and Tao at the official rate. We don't add a markup: we book through Lomprayah's and Seatran's operator portals, so you get a guaranteed seat without queuing at the pier. An optional pier transfer from your hotel is ฿300–500 per van seat.

Lomprayah runs the most popular speed-catamaran route. Maenam to Thong Sala (Koh Phangan) is 35 minutes; Maenam to Mae Haad (Koh Tao) is 1 hour 45 minutes. The catamaran is air-conditioned, with bench seating and footrests, a small snack bar, and Wi-Fi on the Tao route.

Seatran runs from Bangrak pier, by Big Buddha on Samui's north-east coast, to Phangan and Tao on a slightly larger, slower boat: 50 minutes to Phangan, 2 hours 30 minutes to Tao. It is a little steadier in rough seas.

If you're heading to Koh Tao to dive, take a morning ferry (08:00 on either Lomprayah or Seatran): afternoon arrivals miss the half-day dive trips. For Koh Phangan day trips, any ferry works.

Pier transfers: if you're staying in Maenam near the Lomprayah pier, you can walk. From anywhere else we book you a seat in a Toyota HiAce van for ฿300–500 and time the pickup to land you at the pier 30 minutes before departure.

Why book through Legitour instead of buying at the pier?

Lomprayah or Seatran: which one?

Lomprayah's catamaran is faster (35 minutes to Phangan against 50) and runs on time. Seatran is bigger and calmer in rough seas. We recommend Lomprayah unless seasickness is a concern.
