Jungle Discovery 4×4
Big Buddha, Lady Monk, the 360° viewpoint, Magic Garden, Namuang waterfall — the classic loop.
An open-side 4×4 truck climbs the inland trails of Koh Samui — past rubber plantations, up to the Lat Wanon viewpoint where you see the entire island, then down to a waterfall most aggregator tours skip because it's a 200m walk from the road. Full-day adds the Big Buddha and a hill-top farm lunch.
The 4×4 is a Land Rover Defender or similar with bench seats in the bed and a canvas top. Eight guests max, two on each side bench, four in the rear-facing seats. It's a bumpy ride; if you have back issues, the front passenger seat is the smooth spot — ask us to reserve it.
Lat Wanon is the high point of the island — 400m elevation, 360° view, the spot where the Pravilo retreat built its sunset deck. From there you can see Koh Phangan to the north, Ang Thong to the west, and the entire Chaweng Bay to the east.
The 'secret' waterfall is actually Na Muang 2 — not really secret, but the tour-bus crowd skips it because it requires a 200m walk on a dirt path. The waterfall pool is deep enough to swim, and there's a rope swing some guests use (at your own risk).
Full-day adds: Big Buddha temple (the iconic 12m gold Buddha at the north end), a hill-top farm lunch (Thai home cooking), and Hin Ta / Hin Yai (the famous rock formations on the southeast coast).

Book Jungle Discovery 4×4 on WhatsAppQuestions guests ask
Is this off-road or just sightseeing?
Half off-road, half sightseeing. Koh Samui isn't huge — the jungle 'safari' covers 25-30km of mountain trails plus some scenic-road stops. Real off-road is the Off-Road through the Interior tour.
Will we get wet?
At the waterfall, yes — bring swim clothes and a towel. The truck has an awning so even in light rain you stay dry.
Is half-day enough?
If you've already done Big Buddha and Hin Ta Hin Yai on your own, yes. If you want a full island circuit, the full-day adds those + lunch.
