When the group's bigger than ten, this is the catamaran. Twenty-four-pax sailing cat, two cabins, a working BBQ stove off the back deck, and enough open foredeck for an actual party. Half-day to Koh Som, full-day to Koh Phangan.
The boat is a wide-beam sailing catamaran built for charter work. Twenty-four guests is the maximum — practical comfort caps around twenty. Two double cabins below (use them for changing rooms or a midday nap), one head, a galley with the charcoal BBQ stove on the back deck, and a long foredeck for sunbathing and swimming.
The half-day options are Koh Som — twenty minutes from Bophut, a quiet anchorage on its windward side, decent snorkelling, calm water. The morning slot is calmer, the afternoon slot catches sunset on the way back. ฿17,800 for the boat (1–8 pax), +฿1,500 per extra guest.
The full-day option is Koh Phangan's east coast — Bottle Beach, the Secret Mountain anchorage, a decent stretch of secluded coast that's nearly impossible to reach from the regular Phangan tourist circuit. ฿30,600 for the boat (1–8 pax). This is the trip that justifies the larger boat.
Food: BYO is the simplest option. Bring marinated meat for the BBQ, ice, drinks. The captain will set up the grill and even cook for you if you ask nicely. If you'd rather we organise it, ฿1,000/person for a Thai food spread including barbecue.
What you can bring: anything that fits. People bring sound systems (the boat has a bluetooth speaker but it's modest), sunshade tents for the foredeck, foam mats. The captain has seen everything; he'll tell you if something's a no.

Why this boat over the smaller catamarans?
Capacity. If you're 12+ guests, this is your boat. If you're 8 or fewer, the Lagoon 52 or Vickey is more comfortable per head.
What's the BBQ stove for?
Charcoal grill. Bring marinated meat, fish, vegetables — captain will set it up. Most groups doing the full-day Phangan trip use it.
Pricing — what's the deal?
Base price is for 1–8 pax. Each additional guest is +฿1,500. So a group of 16 on the half-day works out at ฿17,800 + 8×฿1,500 = ฿29,800 / 16 = ฿1,860 per person — competitive with the joint speedboats.
