Sometimes you just need to get there fast. Six outboards, twenty-three seats, and the kind of forward thrust that puts the Anthong crossing under an hour. This is the private speedboat for groups of 8–23 who want the whole day on the water without the catamaran pace.
The boat is a 38-foot fibreglass speedboat with six 250hp outboards and seating for twenty-three guests. It's not luxurious — it's fast. Bench seats, a sun canopy, a small head. You wear life jackets the whole way and bring sunglasses you don't mind getting wet.
What this boat is for: Anthong + Pig Island in one day (the marathon trip the catamaran can't do because it's too slow). Or Phangan in 45 minutes. Or fast hops between three islands if you want to maximise water time over transit time.
Two pricing tiers. ฿28,200 for the full-day standard route (Tan + Pig + Hin Ta Hin Yai, or just Anthong, or just Phangan). ฿33,800 for the marathon Anthong + Pig Island combo. Half-day options from ฿17,000 (one destination only).
Twenty-three guests is the max but practical comfort tops out at sixteen — beyond that the bench seating gets tight. For groups in the 16–23 range, consider whether a sailing catamaran would be a better fit; for 8–14, this speedboat is often the right answer.

Why six engines?
Speed and capacity. Six engines push 23 guests at 25–35 knots even fully loaded. The Lagoon 52 catamaran motors at 8 knots; this boat does the Anthong crossing in 45 minutes vs the catamaran's 90.
How does this compare to the catamaran charters?
Different use case. Speed: this wins. Comfort: the catamaran wins. Group size: this seats 23, catamarans go to 12 or 24. Best fit: groups doing multi-island trips that want to fit it in a day.
Is the ride rough?
It's a speedboat. With six engines at 30 knots it's faster than a regular speedboat but no smoother. November–April it's manageable. June–September seas can be choppy.
